Hi, I'm Laila, and I started The Barkery out of my love for dogs and a desire to create wholesome, delicious treats they can truly enjoy. Rocko and Mikolás inspire everything I do. I wanted treats that are safe, high-quality, and perfect for everyday rewards, so I began baking for them at home. Seeing how much they loved it, and how happy and healthy they became, made me want to share these treats with other dogs and their humans. Every recipe is made with care, using food-grade ingredients. From balanced training treats to special cakes for birthdays and celebrations, I put the same attention into every baked good. For me, The Barkery isn't just about baking; it's about celebrating the bond between people and their dogs, making snack time and special moments something everyone can enjoy.
Mikolás
Customer Service Representative
Mikolás has one of those classic looks that people can't help but smile at. Originally found as a stray in Mexico, he made the journey to Finland where he quickly proved that sometimes, simplicity is what wins hearts. For a few years now, he's been hearing the same compliment over and over: "He's a dog looking dog." With his gentle presence and timeless charm, he has quietly won over everyone he meets. In the past, Mikolás often struggled with his health, but with care and wholesome diet, he's grown stronger and happier. His journey is a daily reminder of why The Barkery exists: every dog deserves safe, high-quality treats made with love. Friend and intuitive, Mikolás is a natural at making others feel welcome. That's why he's the perfect fit for his role as Customer Service Representative, helping us connect with dog lovers near and far.
Rocko
Quality Assurance Specialist
Rocko is our spirited Pomeranian and one of the two inspirations behind The Barkery. Originally from Mexico and now happily settled in Finland, he reminds us every day why we do what we do. As a smart and active dog, Rocko thrives on training and play, which means he needs plenty of small, tasty rewards throughout the day. Our training treats are his favorite, just the right size to keep him motivated and eager to learn. At The Barkery, Rocko reminds us who we're baking for: the dogs. His enthusiasm for our recipes keeps us focused on creating treats that are not only delicious but also made with care, using safe, high-quality ingredients.
